This editor will not work with Drakensang 2!
I have written a separate editor for Drakensang 2 (aka "Am Fluss der Zeit", "The River of Time"): Drakensang 2 Savegame Editor
Drakensang Savegame Editor allows you to manipulate most of the character data contained in Drakensang savegames. It has been downloaded more than 30.000 times by now.
Main Features
- Edit your main character's name, appearance and money.
- Edit any party character's attributes, level, experience, magic, life, talents, special attacks and spells.
- Edit inventory items: change armor values, weapon damage and stack count.
- All attributes, talents, special attacks, spells and inventory items contain icons and descriptions in the game's language. The editor itself currently ships in German, English and Polish.
Requested Features
The following features have been requested, and I really like them. Unfortunately it looks like I will not have the time to realize them, at least not all of them.
- Create and delete inventory items.
- Move inventory items between characters.
- Change your current party members.
- Update talent bonuses, upgrade costs and caps according to your profession.
- Actually buy and sell your talents according to real in-game XP costs (ie. no "real" cheating).
Known Issues
- The editor can not load save games that contain "funny" characters like kyrillic. Fixed, will be released in the next version
- The editor currently can not load save games that contain items from the content patch 1.1. I'm working on it! You can overcome this bug by placing all items on your characters that came with the content patch in a chest, save, edit with the editor, load and pick up the items again. This workaround will not succeed, however, if any of your party members that stayed at home own any of the new items.
- There seems to be a bug when setting "Talents" for the hero, under 2-handed axes. When switching to another party member, or after saving, the values for weapon attack will be replaced with the value for weapon parry, and weapon parry goes to 0.
- Lots of translations bugs especially in Polish. Willing to help?
